Avenida castro alves, centro (http://www.ier.com.br/eco...). another great restaurant in town, dishing out wonderful plates of coconut curry shrimp and other, less-exotic fare. at ~25-35 reais / plate, it's another "don't miss".
Mar e Mel
Praia da concha (http://www.maremel.com.br/). good food and live music. typical dishes & exotic drinks.
Ristorante Eden
A very high-end restaurant that serves by appointment only for a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 25. run by mariella and her husband, sergio. do not miss this treat while in town - near concha beach. update: this one was for sale in june 2007 so functionality is uncertain.
